The High River Flyers saw their season come to an end over the weekend, as they fell in the first round of the Heritage League playoffs to the Cochrane Generals.

Flyers Coach Colten Hayes says overall it was a frustrating season as they dealt with a slew of injuries that kept them from icing a full line-up most nights.

"It does help when you have a full roster and that the thing we kind of struggled with, especially out of town guys and guys getting hurt. It's hard to play a game with three lines and an extra forward and five or six defencemen a night and ask the guys to compete."

Hayes says he's already planning for next season and will be holding camps over the Summer to look for prospective players.
