A close one for the High River Flyers as they fell 5-4 in overtime to Strathmore Friday, February 1 at home.

The Flyers kept in close, despite giving up 60 shots on the night.

They're in Okotoks Sunday, February 3 to face the Bisons.

Speaking of the Bisons, they were 6-1 winners over the Lomond Lakers in Claresholm Friday.

They couldn't gain any ground on Coaldale for top spot in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League's South Division though, as the Copperheads edged the Cochrane Generals 5-4 to hold onto first place.

The Lakers head to Didsbury Saturday, February 2, to face off against the Mountainview Colts.
