It was a big night for the High River Flyers in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League on November 23, as they brought down the South division leaders, the Okotoks Bisons, in their anticipated rivalry contest.

The final score of the night was 5-2 for the Flyers at the Bob Snodgrass Rec-plex.

Tally up two goals a piece for #18 Brennan McPherson and #17 Tyler Alger, with another goal by #2 defenceman Liam Bollivar.

Fridays loss snaps a four game win streak for the Bisons, who wont be in action again until next Sunday on December 2, when they host the Medicine Hat Cubs at the Murray Arena at 1:15 p.m.

As for the Flyers, they'll be on the ice again on November 24 in Coaldale, looking to win their third game in a row against the Copperheads at 8:30 p.m.

The Copperheads are coming off a recent victory in Claresholm on November 23 against the Lomond Lakers, who lost that decision 5-1.

The Lakers will have a chance at a rematch on Friday November 30, where they re-host the Copperheads out in Claresholm.
