The High River Flyers continued in their winning ways with a 3 to 2 victory over the  Ponoka Stampeders at the Rec-plex Friday night.

The team held a special evening paying tribute to the veterans by wearing a new camouflage jersey with a poppy on the front and having two veterans take part in a special puck drop.

The flyers are in second place in the south in the junior hockey league with 17 games played they have a record of 8- 6 and 3 and 19 points.
