The Foothills FC soccer team got their third straight win of the new Premier Development League season, with a 3-1 win over the visiting Portland Timbers last night.
The win means Foothills FC will maintain their perfect start to the season.

Foothills FC dominated the first half of the game, taking a three goal lead, and holding the lead strong in the second half, with the Timbers scoring only one goal.

The Timbers defeated the FC in last year's Western Conference playoff round, making last night's game a true victory for the club.

Manager, Tommy Wheeldon Jr., says he's impressed with the club's performance, noting they seem to be adapting to the different types of opponents.

The FC's second game against the Timbers goes Sunday at 2 pm at Foothills Composite High School.
