High River Chuckwagon Driver Jason Glass is pretty optimistic about the Stampede Tarp Auction Thursday, March 22.

After a couple of lean years struggling with a bad economy, Glass says it looks like things are set to pick up a bit this year.

"You know the economy is starting to improve. You know I think people are a lot more cautious and careful with their money, there's no doubt about that. It's going to be interesting."

Glass says chuckwagon advertising, particularly during the Stampede is a very unique way to advertise your business, plus it gets you a really cool way to entertain clients and business associates.

Glass had the second highest bid last year at $95,000.

The auction goes Thursday afternoon at 5 at Stampede Park.
