It was another hot and sunny night for day 3 of the Chuckwagons at the Strathmore Stampede.

High River's Jason Glass had another great night before a capacity crowd.

The two time Strathmore Stampede champ finished 7th but his consistent times have him sitting in 3rd overall.

Jordie Fike continues to do well and sits 12th overall heading into the Heritage Day Monday finals.

Mark Sutherland is also just on the outside looking in from the 13th position. Son, Dayton is in 30th place.

But it could all come down to another father-son lineup.  Defending champioin Gary Gorst had the fastest time of the meet with a sizzling 1:14.18 last night and now sits in the #1 spot overall with his son Logan nipping at his heels in 2nd.

The finals get underway at 1pm Heritage Monday August 7.
