The Lomond Lakers continue to slug it out in their first season in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League.

They did win one over the weekend and have strung a few together this season which is giving Coach Mike Glawson some hope.

"I've really liked how our teams played over the last couple of weeks. We're in all the games we're playing right now. The consistency is getting a lot better and the guys are really starting to buy into the work ethic that needs to be brought night in and night out."

The Lakers play three games in three nights this weekend, all at home as they host the Okotoks Bisons, Friday, November 16 at 8:30 p.m.

The Strathmore Wheatland Kings, Saturday, November 17, starting at 8:15 p.m. and The Red Deer Vipers Sunday, November 18, at 4:30 p.m., all at the Claresholm Arena.
