There's plenty of action in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League this weekend, starting on the evening of November 10.

The High River Flyers couldn't make it happen in their matchup against the Medicine Hat Cubs on November 9 in the Bob Snodgrass Rec-plex in High River.

The final score of the night was 6-1 for the Cubs, as they prevent the Flyers from raking in a third consecutive win.

For their following game the High River club will be heading out to Stettler Recreation Centre for a pairing against the Lightning at 7:30 p.m.

The Lightning are coming off a recent loss to the still undefeated Airdrie Techmation Thunder.

The Okotoks Bisons are back on the ice again, coming off a narrow overtime victory in Cochrane against the Generals on November 8.

The Bisons crew are back on the road again tonight, heading to Three Hills for a skirmish against the Thrashers.

The Thrashers are still looking for their second win of the season as the pair go head to head at 7 p.m.

Lastly, the Lomond Lakers are coming off a bit of a break after losing their matchup against the Generals on November 4.

They'll be in the Ponoka Culture & Recreation Centre to take on the Stampeders at 7:30 p.m.
