The Medicine Hat Mavericks are the 2018 WMBL champs.
They beat out the Regina Red Sox 8-2 Thursday, August 16, in front of a sell-out crowd at Athletic Park in Medicine Hat.
It's the third title for the Mavericks, after having won in 2003 and again in 2014.
