A winning weekend for local midget hockey teams.

The Rocky Mountain "AAA" Midget Raiders girls moved to within two points of St. Albert for the league lead as they won three in row.

They started off with a 3-2 win over the Slash in St. Albert Friday, November 10, beat the Pandas 5-2 in Edmonton Saturday, November 11, and then wound up the weekend back home Sunday, November 12, with a 5-2 win over the Calgary Fire in DeWinton.

For the Okotoks Bow Mark "AAA" Midget Oilers, they did just as well with a pair of wins.

4-3 over the Grande Prairie Storm Saturday, and then 6-4 over Leduc, Sunday to climb into sixth spot in a very tight AMHL South Division.
