Another stellar week between the pipes means another honour for Okotoks Oilers goaltender Riley Morris.

A perfect 2-0 week, with wins over the Calgary Canucks and Grande Prairie Storm was enough to give Morris the AJHL Defensive Player of the Week.

Morris made 42 of 44 saves including a 4-0 shutout against the Storm on Sunday February 5.

It's the third time Morris has taken home the award.

In 40 games this season Morris sports a 25-11-3 record with a 2.30 GAA and a .927 save percentage.

Morris is chasing Oiler history as he's four wins away from passing Brad Eidsness on the franchise's all-time wins by a goaltender at 56.

The Oilers are home to Lloydminster on Friday, February 10.
