High River RCMP Officers and students and Highwood High School will lace them up for their second annual charity hockey game Friday, December 15, at the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex.

Mustangs Athletic Director Curt Colfer says they're raising cash for their programs and for the High River Food Bank.

He says the bottom line is it's a great way to build trust.

"It's a really fun game, it's a great community event. And you know our kids love playing against the RCMP guys. Sees them in a little bit of a different light. You know, it's great for everybody involved. I know the RCMP Officers enjoy the game too. It's a great way for them to interact with the kids in a positive way."

The game goes at 1 o'clock, with a $2 entry fee, or a donation to the food bank.
