A win and a loss for the Highwood Mustangs Rugby boys in Strathmore on April 8, as they took part in the "Ice Breaker" tournament.

In game one they let the Strathmore Spartans get up 5 to 0, but in the second half their offence started to rumble, the defence dug in and they tuned things around for a 12 to 5 win.

It was a different story against the against the Holy Trinity Knights, in game 2, the players were twice the size of the Mustangs both on the bench and in the field.

The defence spent almost the whole game on the field.

Coach Dave Roberts says they need to work on driving faster and not taking so many penalties before their next game against at home on Wednesday at 6:30.
