The Okotoks Oilers put an exclamation point on their 10th straight win, as they laid the hammer down on the Calgary Canucks, beating them 9-1 Tuesday, January 29 in Okotoks.

Austin Wong, Jack Works and Mark Pasemko each had two goal nights as the oilers expanded their lead over the third place Drumheller Dragons to nine points in the AJHL's South Division.

The Oilers jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first period, then added two more in both the second and third periods.

They also went 3-for-8 on the power play and outshot the Canucks 55-to-10 on the night.

Kaleb Ergang, Gibb Coady and Ben Evanish chipped in singles for the Oilers.

The Oilers look for their 11th straight win Friday, February 1, when the Calgary Mustangs come to town.
