The Okotoks Oilers players may take some time off over the Christmas Holidays, but the coaches are going to stay occupied going to games at the Mac's Major Midget Hockey Tournament.

Oilers Coach Tyler Deis says it's a busy time.

"It's a fun time right. It's an unbelievable opportunity to get a look at some of the top kids in midget. You know we take advantage of it and represent at the Mac's Tournament well."

Deis says they have a couple of players they'll be keeping tabs on, but overall they'll be scouting for talent on all the teams.

The Mac's Tournament runs Boxing Day to New Year's Day.
