The Okotoks Oilers kept themselves ahead of the pack over the weekend with a pair of wins.

They took out the Calgary Canucks 4-2 Friday, January 19 at home, and them dumped the Drumheller Dragons 6-2 Saturday, January 20, at the Pason Centennial Arena as well.

The wins keep the Oilers seven points up on the Brooks Bandits who sit second in the AJHL's South Division.

The Oilers get back to work Tuesday, January 23, in Banff against the Canmore Eagles.
