The Okotoks Oilers have been plagued by inconsistency this year.

They're fourth in the AJHL's South Division, heading into their battle with the Camrose Kodiaks Saturday, December 1, at the Centennial Arena.

Coach Tyler Deis says it's "the little things" giving them grief right now.

"When we're making a little bit of mistakes here, they're capitalizing on it and stuff. It's just the up's and down's and it's a young club, we've got a young defence corps back there. So, it's just getting that experience of playing and being accountable and being professional about being on this team."

The Oilers make their way to Olds Sunday, December 2, to wrap up their weekend against the 3-24-and-2 Grizzlys.
