The Brooks Bandits downed the Okotoks Oilers on Saturday, March 2 for their 33 consecutive win.

The Oilers wrapped up their regular season losing 6-1 to the Bandits.

The Oilers scored their only goal of the game at 3:18 in the second period by Ben Evanish, assisted by Dan Lindeman and Kyle Goldon.

The Bandits had 5 power plays scoring 2 goals during them, while the Oilers were 0 for 4.

The Bandits had 38 shots on Oilers' goalie Connor Ungar with the Oilers only managing 27 shots.

Now the Oilers are set to head to the playoffs as they face the Calgary Canucks in round one of the Viterra AJHL South Division, on Thursday, March 7. It's a best of five series.

The Oilers have won 39 of their 60 games played during the regular season, with six of their victories being against the Canucks.

During the six Oiler-Canuck games, the Oilers managed to score 46 goals in comparison to the Canucks who only managed to score 7 goals in return.
