The Okotoks Oilers have advanced to round two of the AJHL Playoffs thanks to a 6-0 win over the Calgary Canucks Sunday, March 10, in Calgary.

The win gives the Oilers the series three games to none.

A light night for Oilers netminder Brady Parker who only saw six shots all night, while the Oilers fired 53 at the Canucks tandem of Brett Balas and Blake Pilon.

The Oilers now wait to see who they'll play in round two, with the most likely candidate being the Drumheller Dragons, who can wrap up their series against the Mustangs Monday, March 11 in Calgary.
