The Okotoks Oilers ran a few paces around the Whitecourt Wolverines on November 9, beating them on their home ice at the Scott Safety Centre.

The final score of the night was 5-2 for the Oilers.

Dylan Holloway was the star for the Oilers, putting two goals in the net and following up with an assist.

#12 Zane Kindrachuk helps consolidate the lead in the first period, with an unassisted goal.

After taking the lead early in the first period, the Oilers would remain the lead for the remainder of the game, putting 38 shots on net, while the Wolverines manage to return 22 back at the Oilers netminder Brady Parker.

On November 10, the Oilers will be on the road towards Drayton Valley for a contest against the Thunder.

The Thunder have 13 points on the season and stand second from last in the AJHL's North Division, however, they are coming off a recent victory against the Olds Grizzlys from earlier in the week.

Game time goes at 7:30 p.m. in the Drayton Valley Omniplex.
