The Okotoks Dawgs have officially announced they are signing an additional five players for the upcoming season.

Riley Baasch is back, returning for his second consecutive year.

Last year Baasch played 37 games with the Dawgs, hitting two home runs.

Will Hollis from Mckinney, Texas is also returning. He made his debut in 2018 where he was crowned dawgs rookie of the year.

The only Canadian out of the bunch, Austin Oulds of Chatham, Ontario starts his first season with the Dawgs this summer.

New to the team Kory Longaker from Edmonds, Washington will play his first game with the Dawgs this summer as well. He posted a slash line of 399/.456/.610, with his 91 hits ranking 12th nationally.

Outfielder Isaiah Peterson of Lincoln, Nebraska is also new to the team this season. Slashing .364/.481/.606 over 45 games.
