Okotoks Anthony Parker will stick with the Calgary Stampeders.

The receiver heading into his eighth year with the Stamps was eligible to become a free agent Tuesday, February 13.

He finished last season with 36 catches for 482 yards and three TD's.

He also had seven carries for 81 yards and a major.

"It's very important for me to be able to keep my family in Calgary so I'm happy to be back," said Parker. "It's long been a goal of mine to start and finish my career in the same place and this gets me one step closer to that goal. After the past two years, we still have unfinished business and I believe we still have a championship-calibre team that has a good chance to win the Grey Cup."

"Anthony has been a mainstay of the Stampeders and I'm pleased that he has chosen to re-sign with the team," said Stampeders president and general manager John Hufnagel. "He's a player we can count on being in the lineup every week and with so many young players in our receiving corps, I'm looking for Anthony to take on an increased leadership role."

The Stamps also re-signed fellow receiver DaVaris Daniels

Daniels was the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie in 2016 and in 24 career regular-season games for the Stamps, he has 98 receptions for 1,628 yards and 13 touchdowns as well as four carries for 35 yards.

In 2017, Daniels started 13 games and had 47 catches for 743 yards and four touchdowns.

He had nine catches of at least 30 yards.

Daniels was named the CFL's top player of the week for Week 10 after making eight catches for 114 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Toronto.

He started both post-season games and had 11 catches for 113 yards and a two-point convert in the Grey Cup.

The Stamps also signed special teams star Roy Finch re-upped Tuesday morning.

"Roy has established himself as an elite returner in this league and I'm very pleased that he is remaining with the Red and White," said Stampeders president and general manager John Hufnagel. "I look forward to another great season from Roy on special teams in addition to his contributions on offence as a runner and a receiver out of the backfield."

"To everyone in the Stamps family, I'm so excited to be coming back for another two years and to get back to chasing that Grey Cup," said Finch. "I love Stampeders pride and everything this organization stands for. These last two years with the Stamps have been a crazy, amazing ride and I'm looking forward to even more amazing things in the next two years."

Finch joined the Stamps in 2016 after beginning his CFL career with the Ottawa RedBlacks.

The Niceville, Fla., native's 2017 season included 26 kickoff returns for 696 yards and 73 punt returns for a team-record 1,200 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games.

He led the league in both punt-return yards and punt-return average.

Offensively, Finch added 21 carries for 114 yards and 18 receptions for 133 yards along with a two-point convert.

In addition to being voted the league's top special-teams player, he was named a CFL all-star.
