Ponoka bull rider Zane Lambert had a better second day than first at the Stampede Rodeo Wednesday, July 11.

He was bucked off on day one of Pool "B" competition, but held on tight Wednesday to score the top ride of the day.

He moves to third in the aggregate.

In steer wrestling the Cochrane duo of Tanner and Straws Milan weren't quite as successful, with Tanner coming in seventh, while Straws had a no time for the second straight day.

And Milo's Chet Deitz finished fourth in the novice bareback.
