After a couple of losses to the St. Albert Slash Friday, February 24, and Saturday, February 25, the Rocky Mountain Raiders "AAA" Midget girls finished off their weekend with a 4-0 shut out of the Lloydminister Steelers Sunday, February 26.

They head into the final weekend of the regular season with a 16-9-and-3 record, good for 49 points and second spot in the Alberta Female Midget Hockey League standings.

They head to Edmonton and Calgary this coming weekend to wind down their regular season.

Thanks to their second place finish, they get a bye in the first round of playoffs and will head straight to Provincials, which they're hosting this year.

The Midget "AAA" Girls Provincial Tournament runs Friday, March 16 through Sunday, March 19 at the Scott Seaman Sports Rink in DeWinton.
