It's never easy to repeat as the winner of the Mac's Major Midget hockey Tournament, which is what the Rocky Mountain Raiders are hoping to do this year.

The Notre Dame Hounds and Swift Current Wildcats are the only teams to ever repeat as Mac's champs in the female division.

The Hounds did it three years in a row in fact, from 2004 to 2006, with the Wildcats taking the title in 2007 and 2008.

But the Raiders want to add their names to that list.

Assistant Captain Isabella Pozzi, who helped win it last year in her first year with the Raiders, has some advice for this year's Mac's rookies.

"Just don't be nervous. Just play your game. Don't try to be some player that your not. Just have fun with it. Enjoy it. Don't think too much. Just be simple."

The Raiders open the tournament Boxing Day against the Wildcats starting at 3 p.m. at the Max Bell Arena.
