A frenzied opening day to free agency in the CFL Tuesday, February 12, with close to 30 players swapping teams.

Okotoks Bryn Roy, who toiled as a linebacker and special teams player, for the Montreal Alouettes and Saskatchewan Roughriders for a few years, says the big signing of the day was obviously Bo Levi Mitchell signing a four year deal with the Stamps.

"I'm sure that he had some offers from some NFL teams, but at the same time for a guy that's seen that level of success in a league, it's tough to pass up. You only get so long to play a sport for a living. I think he made a very smart decision."

As for himself, Roy says he's looking to get back into the league this year and has been busy talking to teams looking to get an invite to a camp.
