There's a whole lot to celebrate for the Calgary Stampeders and their fans Monday, November 26, as the team returns home the 2018 Grey Cup Champions.

They beat the Ottawa Red Blacks 27-16 in the big game Sunday, November 25 in Edmonton.

While it may not erase the bitter memory of the previous two Grey Cup losses to Ottawa in 2016 and Toronto in 2017, it sure takes some of the sting out of them.

Stamps quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell was named the Grey Cup MVP, while receiver Lamar Durant was the Top Canadian.

It's the eighth Grey Cup win for the Stamps in franchise history with the others coming in 1948, 1971, 1992, 1998, 2001, 2008 and 2014.

The Stamps are expected back at McMahon Stadium, Cup in hand, around Noon Monday.

A public rally for the team is planned for Tuesday, November 27 from Noon to 1 p.m. at Municipal Plaza in downtown Calgary.
