An Okotoks man has been declared missing by his family.

On Wednesday, Zachary Lavin, 19, left his Okotoks home at around 4 p.m. on his way to work in Blackfalds but never made it to work as reported by his workplace and hasn't been seen or heard of since.

RCMP stated that Lavin is currently on medication and may be requiring it and there is concerns for his well being.

Lavin was last seen driving a white 2005 GMC Jimmy with an Alberta license plate of BTD-6020.

He is described as a white male around 6'0 in height, 170 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing jeans and a hoody.
