It looks like we're in for a warmer winter than usual this year.

Environment Canada says "El Nino" is bringing in warm winds from the West which most of us know makes for a very strong wind.

Meteorologist with Environment Canada Brian Proctor says a white Christmas isn't guaranteed because of the "El Nino" weather pattern.

"It's possible that we could have a white Christmas with a front coming down or we could get into the other half of that pattern where we're seeing those mid to upper teen temperatures possible in which case the snow is going to disappear very rapidly so it's very changeable. We'll have to get a little closer to that time to get a better feel for what's going to happen."
