Never a dull moment in Alberta Politics.

The latest change has Alberta Party Leader Greg Clark stepping down as the leader, but he is keeping his job as the MLA for Calgary-Elbow.

Clark's Facebook post says the Party is at a turning point and he believes they can have a big say in the next provincial government.

Clark says they must jump-start the Alberta Party by selling memberships, raising money and raising their profile by inviting albertans into their party to debate different visions for the future of the Province.

He believes the best way to accomplish all that is to trigger a leadership race.

The party has an annual general meeting scheduled for Saturday November 18th in Red Deer.
