The Alberta Legislature wrapped the spring session Thursday, June 7, and MLA'S returned to their constituencies for the Summer.

Highwood MLA Wayne Anderson says even with the Trans Mountain Pipeline taking centre stage for most of the sitting, the UCP Caucus had a fairly productive sitting because as he says, they "brought civility back to the house."

"I know it doesn't get a lot of fanfare, but the reality is we managed to get more time in during question period, to hold this government accountable. Just take a look, this is the last year of the NDP carbon tax, so we're pushing forward on that."

Anderson says he plans to spend the summer talking to constituents about issues like jobs, taxes, oil, the carbon tax and most importantly rural crime.
