An event at the fieldhouse in Aldersyde this weekend offers a chance to have fun while getting fit, and support the Okotoks Food Bank at the same time.

The fourth annual Fitness Fundraiser, organized by local fitness instructor Tamara Boivin, will feature classes in Zumba, Pound, Turbo Kick and Yoga.

There will also be basketball, soccer, floor hockey and access to the walking track and toys.

Admission to the event is a minimum 10-dollar donation, as well as a non-perishable food item, with all proceeds going to the food bank.

Last year's event raised over $500 for the Okotoks Food Bank, as well as donations of non-perishable food items.

Participants are asked to bring yoga mats, running shoes, water bottles and additional cash for draws that will be taking place during the event.

This year's Fitness Fundraiser takes place at the Crescent Point Regional Fieldhouse on Saturday, December 30 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
