Why have one, when you can have two.

That's the thought of Nanton's Bomber Command Museum with news they've been offered a second Halifax bomber.

Museum Director Karl Kjarsgaard says like the one they're trying to get off the sea floor near Sweden now, they'll need their scuba gear.

"A Danish group contacted us and said they'd found a second Halifax in 40-feet of water in Denmark, would you be interested in that one?"

Kjarsgaard, says they are, and will look into it, but are concentrating on getting the one from Sweden first.

He says the idea will be go get both, but only restore one.

He says what they will do is try to gather enough parts for a second plane, and then leave the restoration to future generations.
