One person is in hospital following an early morning assault in Okotoks Monday, July 9.

Police say they believe the attack was targeted, and don't think there's a risk to the public.

The victim has unspecified injuries, and police think three or four people were involved.

All are described as being around six feet tall, with medium builds and wearing dark clothing.

Police say they were driving a smaller blue or grey car, possibly a hatchback.
