Bad weather in the forecast for the Easter long weekend means a much loved High River tradition is being cancelled.

The annual Easter Egg Hunt has been cancelled due to a snowy weather forecast and the piles of the white stuff still laying on the ground.

The good news the kids will still get treats and see the Easter Bunny if they come out to the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex and vote for High River in the Kraft Hockeyville competition.

The High River Kraft Hockeyville committee will be running a two day vote-a-thon at the Rec-Plex Friday, March 30 and Saturday, March 31.
