Huge crowds Sunday, June 18, at the Bar U Ranch National Historic Site for their annual Father's Day Spectacular.

Mike McLean with the Bar U says it really is the place to be for Father's Day.

"Of course we had the chuckwagon stew cook-off, and the chuckwagon's were the base of operations for the guides. We had the packhorse race, where if you wanted to go somewhere and you wanted to take your supplies, well, you took an extra horse. The branding activity, the roping, everybody just seemed to have a really great time!"

And at that stew cook-off.. The "Pekisko Pete's", Russell & Lydia Skeet, along with Dawn Mitchell, took second spot.
