A long list of charges have been levelled at a Calgary man for a bunch of ATM thefts from both in the city and surrounding areas.

48 year old Guy Stewart was arrested Thursday, January 31, after police searched a home in Calgary, finding one of the stolen ATM's.

In all Stewart is facing 40 criminal code offences, with all but one related to the ATM thefts, and that happened in High River, where he's facing a charge of operating a motor vehicle while being pursued by a police officer.

He's facing five charges related to an ATM theft in Okotoks, with the rest coming from Irricana, Beiseker, Three Hills, Chestermere, Airdrie, Crossfield, Strathmore and Calgary.

Stewart is back in a Calgary courtroom Wednesday, February 6.
