The Alberta Legislature gets back to work this week.

Highwood MLA Wayne Anderson has kept busy taking in the needs of constituents since the fall sitting let out, and says there's still one issue people are talking to him about more than others.

"People are still really concerned about the cost to their bottom line to the carbon tax. It's really going to have a huge ripple effect. Although the current regime says "it's a chicken little thing" It's only been a couple of months since it's come in. The reality is, that bottom line is going to affect hard working Albertans' here in Highwood."

The Speech from the Throne is Thursday, March 2, with the actual business of government getting rolling Monday, March 6.
