The Centre Street Bridge in High River will re-open again, in time for the weekend.

They'll remove the barricades Friday, August 17, at 11:59 p.m., after having it closed for the last three days while crews work on the flood gate.

In the meantime, detours are still in place along 3rd Avenue directing traffic to 5th Street and north to 498th Avenue.

The bridge will be closed at least twice more before the work is completed in late October.
