It's going to be another challenging day if you're looking to go pretty much anywhere Wednesday, October 3.

More snow is on the ground after last night, adding to what will already be a chaotic commute.

The City of Calgary received record breaking snowfall Tuesday, October 2, breaking a 104 year old record, with dozens of accidents reported.

Here in the foothills, it wasn't as bad as we didn't get as much snow.

However the Trans Canada Highway west of Calgary to Canmore and Banff and Highway 2 North between Carstairs and Bowden were closed overnight as emergency crews were overwhelmed with the number of stranded vehicles.

Police are asking drivers to use caution and say if you don't have to be out there to stay home.
