The Town of High River is bringing in an inspirational speaker that many in the area know.

Chris Koch was born without arms or legs but that hasn't stopped him from doing the things he loves.

He says his talk in High River Wednesday is going to be upbeat.

"A lot of funny stories, you know, keep it light," he says. "And being that I'm going to know a lot of people in the audience because it's right in my own backyard, I'll probably go more for the funny stories, I mean there'll be a message obviously of 'If I Can', and you know get out there and live life to the fullest."

Koch has travelled the world with his inspirational talks and spoken to groups of all ages.

"I've had the opportunity to speak at everything from elementary schools, kindergarten kids, high schools, conferences all across North America," Koch says. "Kids are a lot of fun especially when I open it up for questions because kids ask the best questions."

He'll be at the Highwood Memorial Centre Wednesday night at 6 p.m and tickets are free, but you need to pick them up in advance at the Town Administration Office, the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex or the Museum of the Highwood.
