The High River United Church Garage Sale is coming up Saturday, April 29.

Melanie McCracken at the Church says they sell almost anything, except large appliances, computers and computer parts and clothes.

"We prefer people take clothing to the Salvation Army because that's something they provide for the community already and it's a service they provide and we think that's important that we support that," she says.

The Church hosts things like "Simple Suppers" and the Scouts and Beavers and the Adult Day Support program through Alberta Health Services, as well as other community activities that are not a part of the church itself.

Anyone who wishes to drop off items can do so by stopping by the Church weekdays up until Thursday, April 27 at Noon.

Arrangements can be made to drop items off at night or when possible to have them picked up by calling the United Church at 403-652-3168.
