Cochrane RCMP have arrested a man wanted on numerous warrants throughout the Foothills.

28 year old Cole Mclean was arrested on Tuesday, January 31, after a call to Cochrane RCMP reporting a suspicious vehicle driving around an oil lease site.

When RCMP arrived they say they found Mclean in a vehicle that was stolen out of Pincher Creek with an accomplice, Danielle Mckenna from Okotoks.

Cochrane RCMP say they also found multiple break in items, controlled substances, stolen ID's and other stolen property.

Mclean was already facing charges from Okotoks, Vulcan, and Turner Valley.

He's now facing charges from Cochrane Mounties for failing to comply with probation, possession of break in items, identity theft, obstructing a Peace Officer, and five counts of possession of stolen property.

Mclean is in custody and will appear in court in Calgary, Thursday, February 2.

Mckenna, has also been charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance, obstructing a Peace Officer, identity theft, unauthorized use of a credit card, and five counts of possession of stolen property and break in items.

Mckenna will be in court Friday, February 3, in Calgary.

"This is a great example of why we want the public to report suspicious activity," says RCMP Corporal Curtis Peters. "One person thinking something did not look right and calling the police, led to us making this arrest and clearing up investigations all over Southern Alberta."
