This Wednesday, March 23 the High River Library will be starting a six week program to improve computer skills in the community.

Program Coordinaor Joyce Brown says everyone is welcome to come and learn.

"It's open to anybody and it runs from 6 to 8 in the evenings. it's also going to talk about shopping and selling online and ways to save on your phone bill and things like that."

The Computer Plus Program is run through Literacy For Life, and is meant to build on a basic knowledge of computers. Brown says the program will also give tips on saving money with your computer.

"They need to have a basic computer knowledge and working their way around it. Then they're going to work on going a little bit more in-depth into the emails, security, and ways that they could go in and learn some money saving tips using the computer."

Classes will run Wednesday evenings at the library until May 4. For more information, call the High River Library at 403-652-2917.
