The Cowboys 'N Sleds charity sledge hockey game will be taking over WinSport on Saturday.

The event is aimed at helping the healing process by bringing people together and promoting agencies and services that responded and assisted in the Humboldt Broncos bus tragedy.

Chris Cedarstrand, Okotoks' Paralympian, is taking part and says the funds will go towards StrazStrong, the foundation in support of the Bronco's Ryan Straschnitzki, and STARS.

"The funds are going to an amazing place and it's going to bring a lot of awareness to the other groups. We've got blood and organ donation and a lot of mental health groups that were all very prevalent at the time and bring some more awareness back to them."

Cedarstrand says the teams are stacked with talent.

"There's the George Canyon All-Stars so we have George out playing goal and Aaron Pritchett coming out with him and we have a whole bunch of Olympians that are coming out, we have a few guys from the para team and Ryan will be on that team. On the other team we have the WPCA so all the chuckwagon and outrider guys, Tom who's Ryan's dad, and we have a few celebrity coaches."

Prior to the game there will be an autograph signing starting at 12:15 p.m. with the game starting at 2:30 and a concert afterwards.
