Daylight Saving Time is back starting this Sunday morning at 2 a.m. or before you go to bed Saturday night.

That means it'll remain darker in the morning for a while but lighter at the end of the day.

The Insurance Bureau of Canada says it's a good time to check smoke detector and c-o detector batteries and to go over your family's escape plan in the event of an emergency.

It says it's also a good idea to go over your first aid kit to make sure it's complete.

And a home inventory comes in handy after a disaster, as many local people are well aware, so it's a good time to remind yourself to make sure it's complete as well.
