The street cleaners had some extra work to do in Black Diamond Saturday, June 2.

The 50th annual Diamond Valley Days parade took place, which not only included lots marching bands and floats but also the traditional horses.

Right after the parade, the festivities moved into Turner Valley as Discovery Days welcomed hundreds of families to take in the bouncy houses, petting zoo, climbing tower and the Zorb ball collision course.

And the kids that still had the energy, enjoyed the movie "Coco" which showed on the big screen outdoors at Black Diamond's Maplewood Park that evening.
