It's going to be a busy Saturday, June 3, in Turner Valley and Black Diamond with the annual "Diamond Valley Discovery Days."

Monique LeBlanc Community Services and Business Development Manager with the Town of Turner Valley says the parade starts in Black Diamond at 10 o'clock Saturday morning, and once it's over you'll want to head to Turner Valley for a pile of activities.

"There's face painting and entertainment. We're going to have "buskers" on site, as well we have a great market this year, with about 35 of our producers. So this is locally produced, locally sourced goods. They'll be at the market starting at 11 o'clock."

The day starts with a pancake breakfast at 8 o'clock at Oilfields High School before the parade.

There's street vendors, bouncy houses a Model "T" car show, "Zorbing," and free shuttles running back and forth between the two towns throughout the day.
