Statistics Canada doled out more information from the 2016 census on Wednesday Nov. 29.

High River is a pretty well educated community.

According to the census, out of 10,800 residents, 5,395 have a post secondary certificate, diploma or degree.

There are 1,235 who are working on, or have, apprenticeships.

Another 1,240 have a bachelor's degree while 150 people hold masters degrees.

According to the numbers released by Stats Canada 3,570 people have a high school diploma while 1,840 people have no certificate, diploma or degree.
